What makes Camalou Battlefield Tours different from other tours?

Because we are a small company with only 2 vans we are very flexible and adapt our tours to the personal requests of our guests.

How many people on the tour?

Our tours are private.

Just for your group.

Is it possible to visit a cemetery not listed on the program?

Yes we can always include extra visits. Of course we need to know in advance the name of the soldier, his service number, regiment or battalion before the start of the tour.

Do you do shorter tours?

It is possible to do a 2 day or 3 day tour.

Can you find out more about a relative from WW1?

Yes we have an extensive library and access to trench maps, databases, diaries of the different regiments and battalions from different countries of the British Empire.

Where do we start and finish the tours?

We start our tours in Lille. Lille is centrally located between Paris, London and Brussels.

In which hotel will be staying?

We use the Albion hotel orNew Regina  in Ypres located near the Main square and the Menin Gate. Service and food are excellent.

What if I have special dietry?

No problem let us know about Vegetarian, Glutten free et.. and arrangements will be made.

When do the tours start?

We can start the 2 day tours, 3 day tours or 3 day tours every Monday, Tuesday or Wednesday.
